During this Christmas season, we encounter so many people who are without, and we all may be experiencing levels of insolvency. But let us focus on the special gift of Jesus Christ and how He came to save us from our sins. How great is that - forgiveness for all of our sins.

Let us read Advent Scriptures to refresh us in our areas of inadequacy. Mary's response in the magnificat challenges us to respond in like fashion to the Lord's will for our lives. May our attitude this Christmas season be reflected with a response to help each other with love and compassion. In spite of our inadequacies they are the Lord's opportunities, for with Him nothing is impossible. Remember, celebrate and respond to Christ in our lives; for to celebrate Christmas without Christ is not Christmas.
