![]() The Radio Ministry is LIVE the first Sunday of each month from 5:00 pm - 5:30 pm at the WYBC Studio in Lanham, Maryland, 1340 AM. It is a blessed opportunity to share on the airways my passion for studying the Bible inductively. The four components of basic inductive Bible Study are Observation, Interpretation, Correlation and Application (See Bible Study). The Humbly Submitted Ministries Bible Challenge is given on the radio and also at the monthly Bible Study: The passage of study guided by the Holy Spirit, recognizes some calendared holidays and sometimes the study is predicated upon the concerns of the time. I strive to teach so that all listeners, whether mentally or physically challenged or even driving a car at the time can receive the taught Word. I consciously try to generate hope and encouragement, to establish an interest in studying the Word of God inductively to discover themselves in the Word, and to encourage attendance at their corporate Bible Studies, if possible. My prayers are that the listeners are anxious to augment their Biblical understanding of the Bible by listening monthly to the Humbly Submitted Ministries Radio Broadcast, and realize that the Bible is the answer to all of their needs. Each month you will have an opportunity to participate in the Bible Trivia, that was shared on the radio. ![]() The Humbly Submitted Ministries Radio Ministry for the month of August 2010 basic inductive Bible study was 1 Corinthians 1:1-17, which focuses on Christian conduct. The inspired author, Paul was responding to an inquiry from the Church at Corinth concerning marriage. Paul stated in these verses the importance of abstaining from fornication and he recommended marriage for those who could not abstain. He considered his singleness as a gift but he stressed that it is good to marry than to burn with the lust of sexual sins. The principles of marriage were reinforced in these verses and the importance of staying with each other as husband and wife. The remainder of this chapter will be studied in our next session.
