![]() The Humbly Submitted Ministries Radio Ministry was held on Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m. Our basic inductive Bible study for the radio listeners was to incite them toward giving thanks and praises to the Lord. It was a study to encourage the recognition of the Sabbath day and the promised flourishing of the aged that they will continue to bring fruit in the house of the Lord. The Humbly Submitted Ministries Radio Ministry was held on Sunday, December 4, 2011, 2011 from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m. Our basic inductive Bible study was from the Epistle of 1 John, 2nd chapter, verses 1-17. This endearing epistle written to believers as "little children" was written to strengthen their faith and to warn them of false teachers. The epistle opens with the understanding that because of the incarnation we, as believers can walk in fellowship with the Lord and with each other. As we studied the 2nd chapter, we shared with the radio listeners the tests of fellowship - obedience and love. The importance of loving each other was an application that we encouraged. The inductive Bible study ended with the admonition that we cannot love the things of the world - lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. However, because of Jesus we can live in this world but not of this world as we anticipate His second coming.
Each month you had an opportunity to participate in the Bible Trivia, that was shared on the radio. ; ![]()
